John R. Leikensohn, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Leikensohn is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and also by the American Board of Otolaryngology and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the Florida Medical Association, the American Society of Plastic Surgery and the Lipolysis Society, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Leikensohn is originally from New York City. He completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University and attended medical school at Georgetown University. After two years of general surgery, he completed training in Otolaryngology and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Cincinnati, followed by two years of training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California in San Francisco.

He is affiliated with Manatee Memorial Hospital and West Florida Surgery Center.
